
David Pickup - Director
David has 20+ years of experience within the world of pre-owned printing machinery and is recognised throughout the industry worldwide as a leading authority. He manages Pinheiros’ key accounts, primarily in the Far East, which involves extensive travel as well as working closely with the purchasing team, in the identification of future sales requirements.
Before joining Pinheiros in 2000, David worked as sales director at Wayne Graham Machinery, where he developed a highly respected commercial knowledge of re-sale values of printing machinery, which sees him valuing presses for agents of many of the major manufacturers throughout Europe including Heidelberg, Komori, Man Roland, Mitsubishi and KBA.
Julian Brown - Director
Julian joined Pinheiros in 1999 with the brief of developing new markets both in sourcing and sales and has been particularly key in the company’s growing involvement in India, South America and Eastern Europe . He manages a team of four multi-lingual purchasing executives, all tasked with sourcing machinery within their European territories.
Julian has also developed an unrivalled expertise in the highly important area of export and import logistics, working with a base of key suppliers to ensure that the high value machinery bought and sold arrives safely and on time at its destination.
David Brown - Director
David, a founding partner in the business in 1999, is responsible for all aspects of the business’ finances. In addition to relationship management with key lenders and suppliers, David manages cash flow forecast and management and is ultimately responsible for the close supervision of the company’s P&L accounts.
David’s background comes from 30+ years of experience working in the retail sector in management roles for a number of blue chip brands. He was also instrumental in the growth of an independent brand that was ultimately acquired by a major retailer.
Martin Mason - Director Pinheiros Post Press Ltd.
Martin joined Pinheiros in 2009 to head up a new joint venture, Pinheiros Post Press, a company specialising in the purchase and sale of used post press machinery as well as heading up the marketing function of the Pinheiros companies.
Charged with maximising the company’s brand potential, Martin manages all aspects of the company’s marketing activities including worldwide exhibitions, web and online activity, sales missions and PR and advertising.
Martin worked with fellow Pinheiors director David Pickup at Wayne Graham Machinery for five years before moving into the world of advertising and PR, becoming managing director of one of the UK’s leading marketing services agencies, Golley Slater, where he had key ivolvement in the acquisition and management of blue chip accounts including The British Army, Proctor & Gamble and Learn Direct.
Marco Del Olmo - Purchase & Sales - Spanish Speaking Countries
Marco Del Olmo is a Spanish National, now living with his family in the UK. With almost a decade of experience within the industry, Marco purchases and sells machinery from and to Spanish Speaking countries throughout the world.
Sandra Rotoli - Sales and Purchasing
Sandra Rotoli is based in Germany and with fantastic Language Skills (German, Italian, English, French) is a key member of our team dealing with sales and purchases. Sandra has developed a good knowledge of machinery since she joined us. Sandra has also taken on board The Pinheiros ethos and has formed good personal relationships with many of her contacts.
Trine Eidsmo-Brown - Purchaser / Scandivanian Countries
Monika Godlewska - Purchasing & Sales Executive - Poland & Slovakia
Monika is the most recent addition to the Pinheiros team but has in a very short period of time managed to express her infectious personality to both the rest of the team and her client base.
A native of Poland, Monika studied at the Univeristy of Gdansk , where she received a BA Honours Degree in Teaching English before moving to the UK where she studied Popular Music and Media at Huddersfield University, recently graduating with another BA Honours Degree.
Monika is responsible for purchasing and sales of machinery from Poland and Slovakia, where she is developing her knowledge and contacts.
